We were both raised on farms in central Nebraska and thought our lives would be spent farming and raising livestock. We soon discovered that God had a different plan.

It all began in 1986 when our children were invited to Awana. Within eight months we, as well as our three children, had accepted God’s free gift of salvation. After that we served in the Awana ministry in our local church and the Nebraska, SE Wyoming area. In 1999 we began serving full time and in 2008 we became Awana missionaries.

In 2009, we felt the Lord was going to change our area of ministry. It soon became apparent that He was calling us to Florida. We are excited about serving the Lord in Northwest Florida and being a part of the Florida ministry team.

There are 1.5 million children between the ages of 5 and 18 in North West Florida and our hope and prayer is that they will come to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. Please pray with us as we work with churches to reach families and their communities with the Gospel.

Our children and grandchildren remain in Nebraska so we would appreciate your prayers as we all adjust to the separation and as we learn ways to be long-distance parents and grandparents.
